<description>At first glance, it does seem odd That I`ll be viewing my favorite coffee without that familiar STARBUCKS embedded in the green ring as I sip but for those concerned, the brand is ONLY as good as it`s product and for those die hard fans of this local Seattle creation, close your eyes, take that first sip in the newly (once out) branded cup and you will come to the realization that yes life is still good!

Having a brand stand alone is one thing and to REVAMP it completely (as some have done), can be catastrophic but this has no signs of that. The green, the iconic siren, the shape will all be there. After all, driving down I5 looking for a coffee spot, is it not the logo that you notice on the highway post that lets you know, it`s time for the cup!

Any brand change, no matter the product, can succeed if promoted effectively and the brand is promoting the product and quality that everyone has always enjoyed. If you boycott it due to the name being remvoed, then, would I be correct that if a politician (you know, the one you despise) changes his suit and his name, he gets a new shot at making the mess all over again!

Apples to apples and oranges to oranges, I get it but if a simple adjustment can fool people into believing the product is faulty or of less (or different) quality, then YOU banished politicians rejoice while drinking your (non named) Starbucks in those new suits. Life is Good!
